He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph D. Hartman and Johnnie L. Hartman; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Troi (Eric Edmondson), Susan (Nathan Leger), Daniel L. Hartman, Joseph M. (Christine Hartman) and James Vinasco; and his grandchildren, Chance (Mariah Smith), Joe Joe (Ally Hartman), Lance, Caden Walters, Bethany, Clayton (Morgan Hartman), Leeya Leger, Shiloh (Micah Henson), Cole and Chloe Smith.
