Though Bernard may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Szdek and Julianna Kwasnica Szdek; and his siblings, Louise, Bobby and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadine Syzdek; and his children, Becky Gurney (Cleo), Bernard Syzdek, Jr. (Barney), Barbara Munn (Peter), Bruce Syzdek (Daniela) and Brian Syzdek (Gwen). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (11323 County Rd 304, Navasota, TX 77868). A rosary was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
