She was predeceased by: her parents, Bedford Sharp and Grace Sharp (Stanley); her husband Leonard Ray Matthews, Sr.; her grandchildren, Clinton Ray Matthews, Victoria Parker, Seana Mitchell and Khloe Floyd; her son-in-law Roger Parker, Sr.; and her siblings, Francis Strickland, Margie Dowell, Gloria Sharp and Donald Sharp.
She is survived by: her family, Sheryl, Brenda, Bubba and Cathy; her children, Sheryl Parker, Brenda Wetherell, Cathy Baker (Shannon) and Leonard Matthews (Syble); and her sisters, Joyce Loftin and Mary Myers. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
