It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sylvia Swinner of Madisonville, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away at the age of 87, on January 12, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentino Dushman and Margaret Dushman (Pinachio); her husband Willis F. Swinner; her siblings, Margaret Lively, Agnes Willis and Robert Dushman; and her granddaughter Jennifer Hailey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Hailey (Lee) of Normangee, Carol Becker (David) of Normangee and Debbie Nelson (Bo) of Normangee. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Burial will follow in High Prairie Cemetery in rural Madison County. *Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Swinner family kindly requests that attendance to the service be limited to immediate family only. Face masks will be required to attend, as well as close observation of social distancing.*.
