He is survived by: his children, Ozell Covington, Jr. of Bedias, Texas, Marie Tamplin of Bedias, Texas, Dorothy Batton (Bobby) of Bedias, Texas and Donald Covington (Debbie) of Highlands, Texas; his nephew Jerry Edward of Bedias, Texas; and his brother-in-law Claude Morgan of Alvin, Texas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, plus their spouses; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Madisonville Funeral Home (1511 E Main St, Madisonville, TX 77864). A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the Bedias Baptist Cemetery.
