She is survived by: her father Charles Samuel; her husband Charlie Sims; her children, Charlenette Johnson (Cory), Charlotte Samuel, Charlette Samuel, Charles King (Ashley), Evelyn Sims and Charleston Samuel; and her grandchildren, TraDayja, Tra'Shayla, Domonic, Asia, Jariana, Kailey, Chloe, Christian, Jeremiah, A'yden, Brightly, Brooklyn, King O'Meir and Jai'Qira. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (205 S Martin Luther King Dr, Madisonville, TX 77864). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the West End Cemetery (703 W Trinity St, Madisonville, TX 77864).
