She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Thomas and Carmen Jett (Whittington); and her daughters, Jetta Ivey and Denise Smotek. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Ivey; her sisters, Katherine and Ann; her son-in-law Edward Smotek; her grandson Justin Smotek (Ashlynn); and her niece Letha Ann. She is also survived by numerous extended family and special friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Madisonville Funeral Home (1511 E Main St, Madisonville, TX 77864). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at the Midway Cemetery.
