She was predeceased by: her parents, William Perrington "Perry" Hicks and Thelma Mae Hicks (Wilson); her daughters, Lani Denise and Lani'; and her son-in-law Sean Robert Carlson.
She is survived by: her significant other Walter "Wade" Burk of Austin, Texas.; her daughter Lisa Burk Crawford (Craig) of Loudonville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Dr. Jackson Wade Crawford (Katherine) of Boulder, Colorado, Claire Delaney Crawford of League City, Texas, Travis Burk Crawford of Flagstaff, Arizona and Regan Katharine Carlson of Loudonville, Ohio.; and her siblings-in-law, Kay Burk Wright (James) of Johnson City, Texas and Larry Lee Burk (Helen) of Georgetown, Texas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
