He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Marcellous Walker and Evola Walker (Rochelle); and his brother Glenn Walker. He is survived by: his wife Callie Walker of Midway; his children, Kerry Walker, Jr. (Kinitra) of Houston and Monique Walker-King of Houston; his stepsons, Frederick Demond Johnson of Ft. Worth and Cleon Johnson of Marietta, GA; his siblings, Linda Walker of Houston, Sandra Walker of Houston, Patricia Walker of Houston, Yovonne Mayberry (Reabo) of Houston, Gloria Walker of Houston, Brenda Walker (Earl Youngblood) of Houston, Gwendolyn Walker of Beeville, Richard Walker of Houston, Keith Walker (Bertha) of Lubbock, Earl Walker (Marva) of Corpus Christi and Ray Walker (Bernadette) of Bloomington; and his sister-in-law Renee Walker of Corpus Christi. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
