He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney "Grady" Farris and Fannie Lee Strickland Farris; and his siblings, Ila Mae Ghiselli and Billy Doyle Farris. He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Ray Farris, Jr. (Diane) of Palestine, Michael Robert Farris (Kim) of Magnolia and Russell Lee Farris of Houston; his sister Ludeen Sweeney of Navasota; and his grandchildren, Jace Farris, Baylee Farris, Lane Farris, Kanon Farris, Ashley Farris, Payton Farris and Payne Farris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
