He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Tinsley and Anna Pauline Tinsley (Carter); his wife Virginia Tinsley; and his brothers, Horace Lee "Bobby" Tinsley and Joe Edward Tinsley.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Winston Tinsley, Sr. of Madisonville, Christopher Lamar Tinsley of Madisonville and Madison Taylor Tinsley of Conroe; his brother Billy Tinsley (Jean) of Madisonville; his sister-in-law Janet Tinsley of Madisonville; his grandchildren, Morgan Clark (Matt) of Madisonville and Joe Winston Tinsley, Jr. (Valerie) of Groveton; and his great grandchildren, Layla Clark of Madisonville, John Winston Clark of Madisonville, Ty Tinsley of Groveton and Brodi Kirker of Lovelady. He is also survived by three nephews, one niece, and countless friends and family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Madisonville Funeral Home (1511 E Main St, Madisonville, TX 77864). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at the Madisonville Cemetery (703 W Trinity St, Madisonville, TX 77864).
