He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Clayton Coneley and Mayme Coneley (Griffin). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Coneley of Madisonville, Texas; his children, James Brandon Coneley of Uvalde, Texas and Ann Dean Grinnell (Josh) of Royce City, Texas; his grandchildren, Lilly Homeyer, Seth Homeyer and Jaxon Grinnell; his siblings, Carroll Wayne Coneley (Sue) of Houston, Texas and Cheri Hervey (Dick) of Corinth, Texas; his stepdaughters, Stacey Forgason (Lex) and Aimee Pavelock (Dwayne); his nieces and nephews, Melissa Voigtman (Walter), Magan Henson (Robert), Clayton Coneley (Stacy) and Preston Hervey (Nickie); his sisters-in-law, Jennifer Yates and Ellen Isbell (Verne); and his mother-in-law Lou Yates.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Elwood Baptist Church.
