She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Johnson, Sr. and Savannah Davis (Brown) of Madisonville; her daughter Eula Mae Moffett; her grandchildren, LaShunda Craft, Charlotte Moffett, Nick Simpson and Sterling Turner; and her siblings, Eugene, Osby, Ira Jr., Frank, Andrew, Dorothy, Rufus and Emma.
She is survived by: her sons, Roy Moffett, Sr. (Maria) and Joe Johnson (Lillie); her grandchildren, Cedrick Craft, Derrick Craft (Emily) and Shenika Byrd (Fredrick); her siblings, Carrie Mae and Rev. DeFarris Johnson (Pinellafie); and her close friends, Arletha Turner and Marie Merchant. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Madisonville Funeral Home (1511 E Main St, Madisonville, TX 77864). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pool Chapel Baptist Church (1008 N McIver St, Madisonville, TX 77864). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the West End Cemetery (703 W Trinity St, Madisonville, TX 77864).
