He was predeceased by: his parents, W. L. Clute and Mable Clute (Walrath); and his siblings, Calvin Clute and Joan Rush. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Clute of Madisonville; his daughters, Lisa Clute of Austin and Jennifer Ivy (John) of New Braunfels; his sisters, Marie Nash of Leona and Linda Carpenter (T. W.) of Houston; and his grandchildren, Matthew Ivy and Mackenzie Ivy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
