We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2025, at the age of 90, Donald Eugene Helms of Madisonville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Helms and Ruth Helms (Watson); and his siblings, Amos D. Helms, James David Helms (Betty Joyce Helms), Henry L. Helms (Ruby Lee Helms), J. W. Helms (Bobbie Lee Helms), C. M. Helms (Edith Helms), Inez Helms Ables (Archie E. Ables), Avis Joyner (Ben Joyner) and Dala Aubry Haley.
He is survived by: his sister Laurene Helms; his son Troy Len Helms; his grandsons, Troy Garett Helms (Amber) and Dylan Kyle Istre (Corrie); and his great grandchildren, Skylar Helms and Nola Istre. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Plaster Residence (253 Diserens Rd, North Zulch, TX 77872).
