He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel F. Jeter and Kitty B. Jeter (McAfee); and his great grandchild Sydney Jeter. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jeter (White) of Madisonville; his children, Sammy Don Jeter (Karen) of Pattison, Larry Cross (Kristi) of Angleton, Pamela Rigby (James) of Madisonville and Julie White (Danny) of Hemphill; his grandchildren, Stacy Jeter (Michelle), Cory Michael Jeter (Tanya), J. R. Rigby (Lisa), Anne Wilhite (Bryan), Lara Patterson (John) and Katie Erath (Tim); and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Jordan, Jacie, Jaxson Jeter, Gracin, Hayden, Kaylin Rigby, Brynnan, Bryce, Brooks Wilhite and Joni Patterson. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
