She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula Belle and Clarence Coonce. She is survived by: her friend Gina; her husband Werner Joe Buxkemper (Joe); her children, Angela Hatla (Chris), Regina Shingledecker (Stuart), John Buxkemper, Mark Buxkemper (Jeanne) and Matthew Buxkemper (Michelle); and her siblings, Richard Coonce (Barbara), Raymond Hutchens, Victor Hutchens (Debbie) and Patricia Raum (George). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
To honor her passion for nature, memorial contributions may be made to Texas Parks and Wildlife, in lieu of flowers.
