He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Joseph Schirmer and Otelia Olga Jackel Schirmer; and his brother Farren Schirmer. He is survived by: his son Ernie Schirmer; his wife Barbara Kathryn Jungman; his sons, Reynold Joseph Schirmer (Joe) and Ernest Lawrence Schirmer (Ernie); his daughters-in-law, Mary Ryan Schirmer and Terri Verstraeten Schirmer; his grandchildren, Kassie Wilson (Ben) and Brandon Schirmer (Kendall); and his great grandchild Reed Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Howard's memory to St. Louis Catholic Cemetery or to the charity of your choice.
