She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hawthorne and Ila Hawthorne; and her siblings, Euwana and Dwight (RW). She is survived by: her daughter Linda Harris; and her son-in-law Tom. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the First Methodist Church in Mabank.
