It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vance Doyle Stockman in Mabank, Texas, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Elma Stockman (Howenstein); his stepson Robert Brittin of Angleton, Texas; his children, James Stockman of Copperas Cove, Texas, Lucy Thornburg of Mabank, Texas, Allen Stockman of Angleton, Texas and Terrie Loftin of Mabank; his father Jacob Stockman (Mother Elma Stockman) of Hunington, Indiana; his wife Jo Ann Stockman of Angleton, Texas; his daughter Gail Hoffenek of Farmersville, Texas; and his sisters, Reida of Huntington and Sue of Florida. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, and a multitude of great grandchildren.
