He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gordon Stewart and Lena Dollarhide; his siblings, George Stewart, Dorothy Stewart, Walter Gordon Stewart Jr. and Leroy Stewart; his wife Dixie June Stewart; his son Orville Gene Stewart Jr.; and his granddaughter Christy Young.

He is survived by: his children, Betty Stewart of Mesquite, TX. and Kenneth Stewart; his daughter-in-law Robin of Terrell, TX.; his grandchildren, Benjamin Stewart of Mesquite, TX., Alexander Stewart of Terrell, TX. and Casey Stewart of Terrell, TX.; his great grandchild Cameron Jaskolowski of Mesquite, TX; his grandchild Prestin Crocker of Mesquite; and his close friends, Betty Splawn of Eustace, TX. and Sandy Brown of Payne Springs, TX..
