She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Dutton (Mitts) and Melvin Sr. Dutton; her siblings, Sharon Anderson and Melvin Dutton Jr.; and her brother-in-law David Dulworth.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Byrd; her daughters, Vanessa (Kenneth Cartmill) and Misty Ames; her grandchildren, Peyton, Kolby, McKynna, AJ Cartmill, Kayla (Buddy Tucker), Zachary Flores, Lonnie Sanders IV, Michael and Carson Ames; her great grandchildren, Rian, Phoenix, Bear and Nora Tucker; her siblings, Melva Dulworth, Brenda (David Craig), David (Sheila Dutton), Arnold (Linda Dutton) and Phillip Dutton; and her brother-in-law Larry Anderson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
