He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Vestal Mashburn and Claudia Mae Mashburn (Latham); his children, Lloyd Mashburn, Jr. (Brenda) and Teresa Williams (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Rhonda, Madonna and Kaylin (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Payton, Kobe, Khloe, Preslee, Zane, Ryder, Grace, Nick and Sophia; his wife Wanda Mae Mashburn; his children, Richard Mashburn and Nancy Mashburn; and his siblings, W. J. Mashburn (Dolores) and Franklin Mashburn (Ann).
