He is survived by: his wife Lisa Atherton Perkins; his daughter Emily Perkins Petty; his son-in-law Wade Petty; his grandson James "Dylan" Petty; his sister Darlene Perkins (Wayne Perkins) of Cross Roads; his brother-in-law Layne Atherton (Gina) of Mabank; and his nephews, Doug Perkins, Erik Perkins, Justin Perkins, Zak Perkins, John Perkins, Bo Atherton and Caleb Atherton.
