He was predeceased by: his parents, Burney Laster and Thelma Laster; his grandsons, Dalton, Nathan, Nicholas and Mason; and his great grandchild Jayden.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Laster; his siblings, Ben, Larry Laster and Sue Webb; his children, Steven Laster (Cindi), Richard Laster, Philip Presley (Gladys), Joe Herrin (Kim), Karla McKee, Beth Lee (Jason) and Gwen Dickens (Toby); and his grandchildren, Rachelle, Tamara, Jake, Taylor, Drew, Brooke, Cody, Grace, John, Brittany and Spencer.
