He is survived by: his son David; his daughter-in-law Lanna; his granddaughters, Krista and Ashley; his sister Sheila Rowan; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Baker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Oaklawn Cemetery (18056 US-175, Mabank, TX 75147).
