He was predeceased by: his parents, George Banks and Ardina Evans; his sons, Allen Banks and Greg Banks; and his siblings, Donald Banks, William "Sky" Banks and Helen Lawler.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Banks of Payne Springs, TX.; his children, Debbie Banks of Garland, TX., Terry Thomas (Penny Midlothian) and Dena Penix (Billy) of Payne Springs, TX.; his siblings, Ralph Banks (Wanda) and Eddie Mae Trammell; his sister-in-law Billie Banks; and his grandchildren, Kristi, Leah, Chris, Kyle, Cary, Dallas, Colton, Hunter, Bryan, Heather, Brandon, Melinda, Marcus and Kristen. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
