He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Monroe and Dovie Bailey Chaney; and his sister Jocele Priest. He is survived by: his son Steve (Charlotte); his wife Onetta Gilmer; his daughter Judy Reznicek (Randy); his grandchildren, Brian Reznicek (Krystal), Brad Reznicek, Jennifer Perry (Dallas), Michael Chaney (Candy) and Allison Cocchi (Michael); his great grandchildren, Jordan Reznicek, Jasmine Lopez, Jacob Reznicek, Hallie Perry, Ellison Perry, J. Andrew Chaney, Jack Thomas Chaney and Blake Cocchi; and his great great grandchild Kaylee Reznicek.
