He was predeceased by: his parents, Hermedijldo Patlan and Luisa Patlan; and his siblings, Juan Patlan and Rachel Patlan. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Patlan; his children, Rickey Patlan Jr. (Tina), Mark Patlan, Herman Patlan, Emililio Patlan and Stephanie Aguinaga (Jordan); his grandchildren, Dora, Elias, Clarence, Diego, Jr., Maddi, Calliope, Joseph, Calizza, Leticia and Ernestina; and his siblings, Salvador Patlan, Gus Patlan, Guadalupe Fieros, Oralia Mendoza, Rita Gutierrez and Pompose Herrera. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
