Jorge Alberto Uribe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jorge Alberto Uribe of Lytle, Texas, born in San Ygnacio, Texas, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Derly Uribe and Laurentina Martinez Uribe; his brothers, Joel Uribe (Dene Lulu), Luis Angel Uribe and Rene Uribe (Olga); and his in-laws, Jose Javier Perez, Maria Luisa Uribe, David Canales, Sergio Canalas, Pedro Humberto Canales (Maria Eva) and Elia Diez (Carlos) of Pinos.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Uribe; his daughters, Letti Hudson (Peter) and Roxi U. Vela-Cuellar (Carlos); his grandchildren, Kevin Hudson, Laurentina Roberts (Jaelin), Georgia Hudson, Nina Vela-Cuellar, Maya Vela-Cuellar and Danica Vela-Cuellar; his siblings, Alma U. Perez and Omar Uribe; and his in-laws, Carmen Uribe, Jorge Canales (Martha) and Yolanda Canales. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home (1016 Lorenzo St, Castroville, TX 78009). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (15825 Bexar St, Lacoste, TX 78009).
