It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Collins of Lytle, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren James'Pickle'Collins, Sr. and Marguerite Calk'Mickey'Townsend; his son Clint Collins; his brother James Collins, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Walter Joyce.
He is survived by: his wife Gaye Collins; his sons, Kevin Collins (Shannon) of Austin and Curtis Collins of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Campbell Collins and Carson Collins; his sisters, Sissy Joyce of Lytle and Barbara Smith of Johnson City; and his siblings-in-law, David Aderholdt (Claire) of Big Foot and Jacqueline Anne Malik of Lafayette, Louisiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Charlie's memory to the Clint Collins Memorial Scholarship Fund.
