He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jorge Tovar and Cirilda Tovar (Gomez); his children, Pedro Tovar (Maria), Jesse Tovar (Sonya) and Virginia Hernandez (Martin); his siblings, Juan Tovar, Javier Tovar, Estella Tovar, Emma Galvan, Elvia Hernandez, Sylvia Perez and Edinina Scott; and also Virginia B. Tovar. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Duddlesten Funeral Home (604 W Hidalgo Ave, Raymondville, TX 78580). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Tovar Cemetery (16291 Cemetery Rd, Lyford, TX 78569).
