He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kersten and Thelma Kersten; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Elsie Vassberg; his siblings, Alan, Edward (Kathy), John (Wilma) and Virginia (Jinker); and his nephews, Alan Kersten, Bill Flippen and Timothy Kersten.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Vassberg; his children, Graham Charles Kersten, Jr. and Sharon (Randall); his grandchildren, Randi Hernandez Schmidt-Tophoff (Pablo), Nicholas Andrade (Danielle), Joshua Andrade, Robert Revisore and Cody Kersten (Rylee); his great grandchildren, Frances Hernandez Schmidt-Tophoff, Avery Graham Andrade and Winn Hernandez Schmidt-Tophoff; his sister Ethel Keys (James); and his siblings-in-law, Juanita Kersten, Jerry Vassberg (Lew) and Nadine Branham (James). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
