She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edgar and Susie Eva Richardson (Shields); and her husband Raymond Berg. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Lynne Keith and Virginia Mae Pleasants; her sisters, Gwen Nell Perkins and Gertie Lou Welty; her grandchildren, Kelli Keith, Jennifer Wasko and Ryan Pleasants; and her great grandchildren, Conor, Parker and Dean Wasko.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duddlesten Funeral Home (604 W Hidalgo Ave, Raymondville, TX 78580). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lyford Evergreen Cemetery (13182 La Noria Ave, Lyford, TX 78569).
