With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas L. Garner of Lumberton, Texas, born in West Helena, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Blanche Hazlewood and Tom B Garner; and his great grandchild Truett James. He is survived by: his sons, John Philip Garner (Karen) of San Marcos, Thomas Edward Garner (Kathy), James Frank Garner (Arcel) of Lumberton and Paul Arthur Garner (Karen) of Beaumont, Texas; his grandchildren, Stephen Daniel Garner (Casey) of San Marcos, David Joseph Garner of New York City, Kyleigh Garner Crawford (Doak) of Magnolia, Bless, Luke James Garner of Lumberton, Kelsie Garner Martin (Weston) of Beaumont and Catherine Garner Simmons (Chas) of Lumberton; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Macy Simmons of Lumberton, Norah, Luka, Remy Garner of San Marcos, Kade and Wrenley Sue Crawford of Magnolia, Texas.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith and Family Funeral Services (40847 TX-105, Batson, TX 77519). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
