He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Louise Burrow Vaughan and Edman Anthony Vaughan; his stepmother Ella Marie Vaughan; his brothers, Robert "Big Bob" Vaughan, Tommy Bergeron and Lee Roy Bergeron; and his nephew Eric Joseph Bergeron.
He is survived by: his wife Eva "Annette" Vaughan; his daughters, Victoria Vaughan Laine (Bryan Sperry Laine) and Carla Kaye Vaughan; his grandsons, Joshua Richard Roy (Heidi), Luke Anthony Roy (Nevida "Vida") and Jacob Vaughan Roy (Naoki); his great grandchildren, Mia, Zephron, Ariel, Trinity, Alex "Carla", Saphira, Malachi, Logan of Little, Abigal "Abby" and Amya; his nieces, Hollie and Jennifer; his siblings, Edman "Eddie" Vaughan (Nina) and Bertha O'Neill; his nieces and nephews, Robert "Little Bob" Vaughan, Jr., Kenny Vaughan, Gabe Vaughan, Bonnie Vaughan Knight, Anthony Vaughan, Adam Vaughan, Allison Vaughan, Renee Hebert (Andy), Spencer Bergeron, Rachel Bergeron, Mark O'Neill, Paul Kubosh and Randy Kubosh; and also Alice Vaughan. He is also survived by sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Family and Friends Calvary Baptist Church North- (395 Fletcher Rd, Lumberton, TX 77657). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church-North Campus (395 Fletcher Rd, Lumberton, TX 77657). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Magnolia Cemetery (2291 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703).
