We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2025, at the age of 97, Joseph M. Scott of Lumberton, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joseph departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joseph. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Scott; and his son Kevin Scott. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Taylor (Robert) of Charleston and Shona Honey of Lumberton; and his grandchildren, Catherine Honey of Beaumont, Sean Honey of Corpus Christi and Kiri Taylor of Charleston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Family and Friends St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church (6825 Gladys Ave, Beaumont, TX 77706). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church (6825 Gladys Ave, Beaumont, TX 77706).
