He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Buford Laird and Helen Sophia Nelson; his daughter Brenda Hillard; and his siblings, Andrew Buford Laird Jr., Curtis Roy White and Juanita Blanche Laird.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Bell Koch Laird; his daughters, Pam Fruge (James) of Round Rock, TX and Jo Helen Ousley of Deweyville, TX; his stepson Ernest Lee Koch Jr. (Kerry); his son-in-law Walter Hillard of Orange, TX; his brother Donald Ray White of Bridge City, TX; and his niece Stacey Mallette of Lumberton, TX. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
