He was predeceased by: his parents, E. C. Alvis and Grace Lee Alvis; his siblings, Lee Jarrell, Lynn Jarrell, Virginia Ray Perkins and Mary Grace Elliott; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Erma Jo Alvis; his daughter Terrie Domec (Wayne); his brother Charlie B. Alvis (Muzette); his siblings-in-law, Robin Jarrell and David Perkins; his grandchildren, Jeremy Wayne Domec (Lisa), Keith Gene Domec, Sasha Lynn Pickering (Jonathan), Garon Ferguson and Duel Gene Alvis (Jodie); and his great grandchildren, Abby Domec, Natalie Domec, Laney Domec, Greyson Pickering, Bennett Pickering, Taron Ferguson, Nash Ferguson, Camden Alvis, Kyson Alvis, Morgan and Karsyn Morgan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lumberton Family Funeral Home (766 S Main St, Lumberton, TX 77657). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at the Williamson Cemetery (6400 N Main St, Vidor, TX 77662).
