He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bobby Barrington Davis and Martha Hall Williams; his son Greggory Scott Bessent (Lisa Colemon); his siblings, Benjamin Wayne Williams (Stacey) and Marsha Chapman (Roger); his grandchildren, Avalee Bessent, Erin Helton, Kara Helton, Paisley Fitzgerald (Joseph Boutin) and Lauren Wood; his great grandchildren, Maddox Wood, Jace Wood, Oliver Wood, Ryder Helton, Briar Whiseneant, Kinsleigh Smith, Brylie Welch and Finlee Jacks Boutin; his nieces and nephews, Rhigel Williams, Dyson Williams, Jayden Williams and Scott Chapman; his great-niece Bella Chapman; his close friend James Clark; and his wife Reba Davis.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lumberton Family Funeral Home (766 S Main St, Lumberton, TX 77657).
