He is survived by: his significant other Ann Abshier; his children, Donnie Abshier (Laura), Julie Boothman, Debbie Lyons (Larry) and Danny Abshier (Deena); and his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Nathan Abshier, Lauren Huelsman, Kristen Bittle, Justin Lyons, Maura Almonte and Taylor Abshier. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
