He is survived by: his children, Adam Thompson (Angela), Kimberly Owens and Melisa Waits; his grandchildren, Charlie Thompson, Alexis Thompson, Katherine Sullivan, Sebastian Owens, Serenity Owens, Michael Kendrick, Dylan Kendrick and Devan Kendrick; and his great grandchildren, Kylie Kendrick and Kyra Kendrick.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home (1810 W Fourth St, DeQuincy, LA 70633). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (1610 Evangeline Rd, Jennings, LA 70546).
