It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cassandra Deanne Saldana of Lumberton, Texas, born in Hillsboro, Texas, who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Gene, Sally Steele, Bill and Ella D. Turner; her uncles, Gene Steele and Edward Hykel; her brother William Steele; and her son Cole B. Sosebee.
She is survived by: her parents, Clifton R. Steele and Zora M. L. Turner Steele of Mexia; her stepmother Brenda Steele of Lumberton; her sons, Clifton G. Steele (Jackie) of Mexia and Caleb Sosebee of Whitney; her grandchildren, Casey Sosebee of Whitney, Cason Lowe, Cole Steele and Amanda Steele; and her stepbrothers, Curtis Lerette (Natasha) of Lumberton, Grant Lerette (Danting) of Montgomery, TX and Landry Smith of Hillsboro, TX. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
