He was predeceased by: his parents, Alston Ellis Bourne Sr. and Myrtis Roper Bourne; his grandchildren, Christopher Carl Cooksey and Shannon Lance Ivey Jr.; and his sister Sherry Lynn Hollingsworth.
He is survived by: his grandson Buddy; his children, Alston "Tres" Bourne, III (Melanie) and Allysen Palmer Rodrigue (Marvin "Scooter" Rodrigue); his brother James Michael Bourne (Bridgett Bourne); and his granddaughters, Savannah Ryann Cooksey and Hailey Mahana Bourne.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lumberton Family Funeral Home (766 S Main St, Lumberton, TX 77657). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
