He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lee Bond Diffey and Elbert Lee Diffey; his sister Jean Bracey; his son-in-law Samuel Mills; his brother-in-law Edwin Owens; and his in-laws, Roy and Mary Madaffri.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Madaffri Diffey; his children, Kelli Diffey Mills, Anthony Chesnutt and Jeremy Chesnutt (Amanda); his grandchildren, Rayna Mills, Rylie Chesnutt McGallion, Sophia Chesnutt and Owen Chesnutt; and his sisters, Loretta Owens and Suzanne Stuckey (Ardis). He is also survived by aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
