She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Brown and Willie Edna Brown; her husband Alvin Duffey Jr.; her son Larry B. Duffey; and her brothers, Franklin Brown, Otis Brown and Robert V. Brown.
She is survived by: her son Alvin (Dolores Duffey); her siblings, Ireland Brown (Bertha) and Juanita Stimpson; her grandchildren, Alex Jones-Duffey (Gillian) and Janet Jones-Duffey; her great grandchildren, Ashton Jones-Duffey and Owen Jones-Duffey; her nieces, Irelanette Broadnax, Cynthia Brown, Patricia Brown, Janice Allen, Deborah Brown, Janet Givens, Lisa White and Gina Bibby; and her nephew Charles Bibby.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Disabled American Veterans.
