She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Baros and Frances Ruth Nelson Baros; her grandparents, Arthur and Eva Nelson; her brother Roger Nance; her parents-in-law, Edwin and Lola Bruns; her brother-in-law Harold Bruns; and her cousin Peggy Kimball.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Henry Bruns of Luling; her brother Ronnie Lee; her sisters-in-law, Brenda Nance of Corpus Christi and Billie J. Bruns; her nephews, Trey Nance "Connie" and Tommy Bruns "Theresa"; her great-niece Emily Nance; her great-nephews, Chris Bruns "Carrie" and Cody Bruns; and also Thomas Blake Bruns.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Gonzales First Lutheran Church.
