He was predeceased by: his parents, Orien Bramlet and Mary Bramlet. He is survived by: his children, Clint and Amanda; his former wife Cleta Newsom; his stepson Bart; his sister Paula; and his grandchildren, Brandon and Lauren.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's hospital or the Shriner's Children's hospital in Galveston.
