It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce A Hodges of Luling, Texas, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buster Benner and Essie Benner; her husband Gary Hodges; her son Samuel Houston Evans III; and her brother George Benner.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Searcy of Luling, Texas; her sister Louise Watts of Haslet, Texas; her grandchildren, Justin, Cecil, Jessica and Logan; and her great grandchildren, Brianna, Alaina, Neal and Cecil.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mossy Grove Cemetery (6083 Co Rd 1, Hallettsville, TX 77964).
