With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ross Rightmer (Luling, Texas), born in Gonzales, Texas, who passed away on April 16, 2018 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his sons, Ross Rightmer of Bryan, David Rightmer of Bryan and Lezlie Rightmer of Bryan; his mother Nell Rightmer of Luling; his sisters, Margaret Stach (Darryl) of Parks, LA, Martha Mosier (Robert) of College Station and Mary Nell Knox (Kirby) of Harwood; and his friend Jack Vick, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
